Detailed Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Airport Arrival – Da Nang City Tour

Your guide and driver will meet you at Da Nang International Airport and transfer you to a local restaurant for lunch. After checking in to your hotel and resting, the afternoon city tour begins.

  • 14:00 – Linh Ung Pagoda, Son Tra Peninsula: Begin with a visit to one of Da Nang’s most peaceful and spiritual landmarks. Admire the 67-metre Lady Buddha statue gazing out over the East Sea, explore the tranquil temple grounds, and take in sweeping panoramic views of Da Nang’s coastline.
  • 16:30 – Dragon Bridge: Head to the city centre to see Da Nang’s most recognisable icon — the dragon-shaped bridge spanning the Han River. An excellent spot for photos any time of day.
  • 18:30 – Dinner at a local restaurant.
  • 20:00 – Han River Night Cruise (tour highlight): Board the cruise at 20:30 for a 1-hour sail along the Han River. Watch Da Nang’s illuminated skyline glide past as you witness the Dragon Bridge’s iconic fire and water show from the best vantage point in the city.

Meal plan: Lunch / Dinner

Day 2: Da Nang – Marble Mountains – Cam Thanh Coconut Village – Hoi An

Please check out and have luggage ready in the hotel lobby before departure.

  • 09:00 – Marble Mountains (Ngu Hanh Son): Take the elevator to the summit and explore this cluster of five limestone and marble hills, each named after a natural element. Wander through hidden caves including the impressive Huyen Khong Cave, discover ancient pagodas built into the rock face, and enjoy panoramic views across Da Nang. Continue to the Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village, where local artisans have passed down the craft of marble sculpting for over 400 years.
  • 12:00 – Cam Thanh Coconut Village & Basket Boat Ride: Hop into a traditional round basket boat and glide through the lush coconut palm waterways. Watch local boatmen perform their trademark spinning tricks, learn about traditional fishing techniques, and enjoy the calm, green surroundings of this charming eco-village.
  • 13:00 – Lunch at a local restaurant.
  • 14:30 – Check in to Hoi An Villa Resort. Take some time to unwind and enjoy the resort’s swimming pool.
  • 16:00 – Hoi An Ancient Town: Stroll the lantern-lit streets of Hoi An’s UNESCO-listed Old Town. Visit the Japanese Covered Bridge, the Cantonese Assembly Hall (Hoi Quan Phuc Kien), traditional merchant houses, and artisan boutiques. Browse the Hoi An Night Market at your own pace.
  • 20:30 – Transfer back to the hotel by coach. (Guests wishing to stay longer and enjoy the nightlife may return independently by Grab.)

Meal plan: Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner

Day 3: Da Nang – Ba Na Hills – Da Nang

  • 08:00 – Depart for Ba Na Hills, approximately 35 km west of Da Nang. The scenic drive through the countryside sets the tone for a day of elevated exploration.
  • 09:00 – Ba Na Hills Cable Car: Ascend via one of the world’s longest and highest cable car systems. Watch forests, waterfalls, and misty mountain peaks pass below as you rise into the clouds.
  • 09:30 – The Golden Bridge: Walk across this architectural marvel, held aloft by two enormous stone hands. The morning light and fewer crowds make this the ideal time for photography.
  • 10:30 – Linh Ung Pagoda & Le Jardin D’Amour: Visit the mountaintop pagoda with its serene Buddha statue overlooking the valley, then explore the series of beautifully themed flower gardens nearby.
  • 11:30 – Fantasy Park: Enjoy this fun indoor entertainment zone inspired by Jules Verne’s novels. Highlights include a 4D cinema, arcade games, and an alpine coaster — great for all ages.
  • 12:30 – Buffet Lunch at Ba Na Hills.
  • 13:30 – French Village: Explore this immersive European-themed village with cobblestone streets, Gothic-style architecture, quaint cafés, and pastry shops — a unique and photogenic setting.
  • 15:30 – Descend by cable car and enjoy the sunset from 1,487 metres above sea level before the scenic drive back to Da Nang.

Meal plan: Breakfast / Buffet Lunch / Dinner

Day 4: Da Nang – Hue – Da Nang

An early start for the 2.5-hour drive to Hue — Vietnam’s former imperial capital, nestled along the banks of the Perfume River and steeped in centuries of royal history.

  • Hue Imperial City (Complex of Hue Monuments – UNESCO): Enter the grand walled citadel that once housed the Nguyen emperors. Explore the ceremonial gates, royal palaces, temples, and manicured gardens of one of Southeast Asia’s most significant historical sites.
  • Thien Mu Pagoda: Visit this iconic seven-storey pagoda perched on a hillside above the Perfume River. Admire the elegant architecture and tranquil riverside gardens, and see the historic Austin car connected to the story of the Venerable Thich Quang Duc.
  • Thuy Xuan Incense Village: A colourful and fragrant stop where local craftspeople hand-roll traditional Vietnamese incense sticks using age-old techniques — a living cultural tradition that few visitors expect to find.
  • Khai Dinh Tomb: Complete your Hue experience at this extraordinary hilltop mausoleum — a striking fusion of Eastern and Western architectural styles, adorned with intricate ceramic mosaics, bronze imperial statues, and grand ceremonial staircases.
  • Evening – Return drive to Da Nang for dinner.

Q: Is this tour suitable for families with young children?
